All Rounder: Dragon Ace

Trianglelabs looked at the Dragon hotend and thought “What if we just, made it better?” Its ceramic heater for fast heat times, longer melt zone for more flow, and improvements to heatcreep make it a solid upgrade while maintaining the general form factor and screw mounting. Dragon Ace is supported in many toolheads and uses standard V6 nozzles. Overall its a solid high performance hotend.
More Cowbell: CHC XL
Section titled “More Cowbell: CHC XL”CHC XL stands tall in the ultra high flow category. It has a long melt zone, heated by an extra long 120W ceramic heater, wrapped in a big silicone sock. It maintians standard Dragon style screw mounting and V6 nozzle support whipe delivering exceptional flow rates in the range of 50-100mm3/s. This hotend delivers on performance at a reasonable price making it a no-brainer if your cooling and motion system can keep up.

TZ hotends come in many shapes, sizes, and versions but the TZ2.0 V6 specifically sits in a special place of the communities hearts. Its not the best, its not the fanciest, but it delivers where it matters. For $15-25 you are getting a ceramic heater, one-handed nozzle changes with V6 or V6 style nozzles, Dragon mounting, and 20-25mm3/s of flow rate. Slap a cheap CHT nozzle and a melt zone extender on this Ford Fiesta of a hotend and get to printing.
Honda Civic: E3D V6

The V6 hotend been around since the dinosaurs but has built a reputation for its reliabilty and cheap parts. If you need something you can rely on and dont need those fancy turbo extended melt zones its still a solid hotend.
